Cumhuriyet Bayramı Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi 'nin 29 Ekim 1923'te Cumhuriyet rejimini ilan etmesi anısına her yıl 29 Ekim günü Türkiye 'de ve Kuzey Kıbrıs 'ta [1] kutlanan bir millî bayramdır .
Cumhuriyet Bayramının kutlandığı ülkelerde 28 Ekim öğleden sonra ve 29 Ekim tam gün olmak üzere bir buçuk gün resmî tatildir . 29 Ekimlerde stadyumlarda şenlikler yapılır, akşam ise geleneksel olarak fener alayları düzenlenir.
Türkiye Cumhuriyetinin kurucusu Mustafa Kemal Atatürk , Cumhuriyet'in Onuncu Yıl Kutlamalarının yapıldığı 29 Ekim 1933 tarihinde verdiği 10. Yıl Nutku 'nda, bu günü en büyük bayram olarak nitelendirmiştir.
The Republic Day of Turkey is one of the public holidays in Turkey, commemorating the proclamation of the republic in 1923. It lasts 35 hours, starting at 1:00 pm on October 28.
On 29 October 1923, Mustafa Kemal declared that Turkey would be a republic and renamed it as the Republic of Turkey.
Turkey had effectively been a republic from April 23rd, 1920 (the establishment of Grand National Assembly of Turkey) but official recognition of this came only 3 years later. On 29 October 1923, the new name of the nation and its status as a republic was declared. After that, a vote occurred in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and Ataturk was selected as the 1st president of the Republic of Turkey by unanimous vote.
Since then, every year on October 29th is celebrated as Republic Day in Turkey.

なので、トルコでは１０月２９日は共和国建国を祝うための祝日です。
トルコでは、８：４５分にアンカラのアタチュルク廟にて式典が開始されます。
大統領がアタテュルク（ムスタファ ケマル）の墓に花を捧げ黙とう。
トルコ国歌が演奏されたりするそうです。
